Johnny Mendez, founder

I started GlowSeal in 2025 from my apartment in Tampa. I am one person. There is no team in the back. There is a contract warehouse in Dallas, a quality-check setup on my kitchen table, and a customer service email I answer myself most days.

I started it because a friend of mine paid thirty-four dollars for a contour stick that I knew — because I'd spent three months on the supplier side of beauty — cost the factory about two-forty to make. The math made me embarrassed for the industry. So I picked a handful of products I'd actually use, set the price at roughly four times cost instead of fifteen, and put them on a website. That's the company.

What I refuse to do: pretend to be a heritage brand, fake a founder photo on a Vogue tear sheet, or send you an email at 7am that calls you babe. What I promise: I'll keep prices honest, I'll replace anything that breaks in the first thirty days without asking why, and if I ever raise a price, I'll tell you the reason on the page.
